Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 6 months experience in a fresh production department or supervising a team
  • successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong leadership skills
  • willingness to adhere to company policies including drug-free workplace
  • ability to engage and motivate a team
  • availability to work varied shifts
  • pass any required background checks and drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • 6 months experience in a fresh production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
  • food handler certification (food safety) preferred
  • ability to lead, train and develop associates
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • experience with digital tools for business decision-making
  • commitment to operational excellence
  • ability to foster a culture of inclusion and teamwork
  • problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset

Job Duties

  • Supervises the team within all prepared foods departments
  • facilitates rotations through different fresh areas
  • manages members needs to deliver on the business plan
  • communicates the goals of the department
  • executes company programs
  • adheres to policies and advocates for the member, associate and company
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of business operations including quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety and compliance
  • Manages seasonality by understanding new products, recipes, processes, and production specifications
  • Collaborates with associates and third parties to ensure resources and training
  • Leverages digital tools to plan sales, improve shopping experience and enhance associate engagement
  • Drives business results through operational excellence, profitability planning, staffing, compliance, and merchandising
  • Teaches and trains the team, identifies training needs and fosters career growth
  • Develops and implements business processes by collaborating across teams and monitoring progress
  • Supports compliance with company policies, ethics and integrity
  • Leads and participates in teams to deliver quality work
  • Embraces diversity and fosters a culture of belonging
  • Acts with integrity and maintains high ethical standards
  • Delivers customer-focused results while balancing priorities
