Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- six months experience in a fresh production department or six months experience supervising a team
- ability to complete all required trainings and assessments within prescribed time periods
- able to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong leadership and team collaboration skills
- willingness to uphold company policies and ethics
- capability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change
- readiness to engage with customers and members
- food handler certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in a fresh production department or six months experience supervising a team
- ability to lead and motivate hourly associates
- knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance
- proficiency in using digital tools and technology for business operations
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- capability to plan and manage inventory and production schedules
- ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders including third parties and other departments
- commitment to uphold company values and maintain ethical standards
- experience with training and talent development preferred
- food handler certification preferred
Job Duties
- Supervise the team within all prepared foods departments including café and rotisserie
- facilitate rotations through different fresh areas to meet business plan goals
- maintain knowledge of floor and backroom operations ensuring quality, sanitation, safety, and compliance standards
- manage production and prioritize tasks across seasonality and new products
- collaborate with associates and third parties to ensure effective resource use and team training
- leverage digital tools for sales planning and associate engagement
- maintain operational excellence including cleanliness, staffing, and merchandise display
- engage with other departments and vendors to ensure operational continuity
- identify and provide training to team members for career growth
- enforce compliance with company policies and ethical standards
- lead teams to achieve quality and timeline goals while adapting to change
- promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and integrity aligning with Walmart values
- make decisions based on reliable information considering short and long-term priorities
- encourage continuous learning and improvement
