Job Requirements

  • 6 months experience in a fresh production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • ability to complete all job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed time
  • adherence to company policies including drug-free workplace

  • preferred food handler certification
  • preferred supervisory experience

Job Duties

  • supervise the team within all prepared foods departments including café and rotisserie
  • facilitate rotations through different fresh areas and manage member needs
  • ensure department goals are communicated and company programs are executed
  • maintain knowledge of business and backroom operations
  • ensure quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety and compliance standards are met
  • manage seasonality, new products, recipes and production specifications
  • collaborate with associates and third parties to provide resources and training
  • leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales and improve shopping experience
  • use technology to make immediate business decisions
  • plan for profitability and operational excellence
  • maintain clean and safe work areas with appropriate staffing
  • coordinate with other departments and vendors to ensure operational continuity
  • teach and train team, identify training needs and develop skills
  • promote career growth and source new talent
  • develop and implement processes and practices to meet business needs
  • ensure compliance with policies, ethics, and integrity standards
  • lead and participate in teams to achieve work quality and adapt to change
