Job Duties
- Supervises the prepared foods team including café, rotisserie, and fresh food departments
- facilitates rotation of associates through various fresh areas to meet business needs
- communicates department goals and executes company programs
- ensures compliance with company policies and member satisfaction
- maintains quality, inventory, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and regulatory standards in the prepared foods area
- manages production seasonality and adapts to new products and recipes
- collaborates with associates and third parties to provide resources and training
- leverages digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and improve operations
- plans for profitability and ensures operational excellence and compliance
- maintains a clean, neat, and safe work environment
- manages appropriate staffing levels and merchandise display
- engages with other departments and external vendors for operational continuity
- teaches and develops the team by identifying training needs and providing skill development
- promotes career growth and sources new talent internally and externally
- develops and implements business processes and improvement opportunities
