Job Requirements
- Meet all state requirements to work as a pharmacy technician such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure
- must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry
- ability to use cash registers and related hardware
- ability to enter data accurately
- comply with company policies and procedures
- ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment

Job Duties
- Process member purchases by operating cash registers and related hardware
- maintain merchandise presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged goods, pricing, and organizing product displays
- handle claims and returns and utilize equipment for merchandising functions
- monitor and resolve prescription fulfillment problems including processing insurance claims and rescan images
- assist pharmacist with prescription fulfillment and handle patient interactions
- enter prescription data accurately into pharmacy software
- fill prescriptions by measuring, mixing, and labeling medications
- provide member assistance during prescription pick-up and ensure compliance with HIPAA and third-party payor requirements
- complete work assignments using company policies and collaborate with team members
- comply with company policies, ethical standards, and integrity guidelines
