Job Requirements
- Meets all state requirements to work as a pharmacy technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy
- Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB or NHA within 9 months of job entry
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Must comply with company policies regarding drug-free workplace and safety protocols
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to pharmacy operations
Job Qualifications
- Meets all state requirements to work as a pharmacy technician
- Ability to obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB or NHA within nine months of employment
- Experience with pharmacy software systems and prescription processing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations affecting pharmacy operations
Job Duties
- Process member purchases by operating cash registers and related hardware
- Maintain merchandise presentation in the pharmacy by stocking, rotating, and organizing merchandise and supplies
- Handle claims and returns while utilizing merchandising equipment and completing required documentation
- Monitor and resolve prescription fulfillment issues including insurance claims and refills
- Provide professional member service in the pharmacy by assisting with prescription orders and recommendations
- Enter prescription data into pharmacy software by transcribing necessary information
- Fill prescriptions by measuring, mixing, labeling, and operating dispensing systems
- Assist members during prescription pickup by verifying patient information and logging sales
- Complete work assignments by collaborating with team members and communicating progress
- Comply with company policies, ethics, and standards of integrity
- Foster a safe and respectful work environment that embraces diversity and promotes continuous improvement
