Job Requirements
- Meets all state requirements to work as a pharmacy technician such as minimum age registration certification or licensure when required
- Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB or NHA within 9 months of job entry
- Ability to operate cash registers and pharmacy related hardware
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Good communication skills and ability to assist patients and members
- Willingness to comply with company policies procedures and standards of ethics
- Must adhere to a drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Process member purchases by operating cash registers and handling various payment types
- Maintain pharmacy merchandise presentation by stocking, rotating, and organizing products
- Remove damaged or out-of-date goods and secure fragile items
- Assist in prescription fulfillment by entering data, filling prescriptions, and ensuring accuracy with scanning equipment
- Handle third-party insurance claims and resolve prescription fulfillment issues
- Provide patient member service including assisting with prescription orders, purchases, and addressing member concerns
- Maintain compliance with company policies, state and federal laws, and complete required documentation
