  • 6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment
  • 6 months customer service experience

  • Preferred experience in leading front-end teams including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, and managing workload of others

Job Duties

  • Assists management with supervision of associates by assigning duties, communicating goals, training associates on processes and procedures, providing direction on member service approaches
  • Communicates and supports membership by providing information on membership types, processing memberships and upgrades, encouraging renewals, participating in sales and marketing events
  • Provides member service by acknowledging members, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, supporting self-service technology, assisting with transactions and club pick up orders
  • Oversees assigned area by handling claims and returns, zoning and arranging merchandise, maintaining carts and flatbeds, assisting with item transportation, maintaining parking lot cleanliness
  • Completes accounting records and transactions, provides funds for register operation, prepares deposits and oversees cash fund transfers, investigates cash register discrepancies while maintaining confidentiality
  • Develops and implements processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers and coworkers, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities
  • Promotes compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics, supports Open Door Policy, assists management with ethical and compliance issues
  • Leads and participates in teams by sharing resources and information, coordinating work assignments, providing feedback and support, modeling adaptability and change management
