Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift and move heavy freight
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Must comply with company’s drug-free workplace policy
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks
- Basic reading and math skills
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and lift pacers
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to safety and ethical workplace conduct
- Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to learn
Job Duties
- Complete work assignments and priorities using company policies and collaborating with managers and coworkers
- Manage freight flow by moving and loading freight using manual and powered equipment
- Identify, count, separate, combine, and scan freight utilizing warehouse management systems
- Maintain records, logs, and forms related to freight handling
- Ensure compliance with cold-chain and species requirements
- Organize work areas and manage empty pallets effectively
- Adhere to ethical standards and company policies during all operations
