- Ability to handle merchandise and perform stocking duties
Job Duties
- Maintains safety of facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including safety sweeps and forklift spotting
- Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services
- Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up and organizing displays, cleaning, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high-shrink items
- Maintains the sales floor in the Liquor area according to company policies by managing claims and returns, zoning, and identifying shrink and damages
- Operates hardware such as cash registers, processes member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges following appropriate procedures
- Maintains cash registers and lanes, reduces shrink by stocking supplies, identifying concealed merchandise, and meeting front-end performance goals
- Follows company and legal policies for liquor sales including securing merchandise, maintaining signage, verifying member identification, and completing required paperwork
