Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3 years experience in a senior management role within operations, distribution, logistics or retail
- Or 2 years experience as a Walmart Logistics Assistant General Manager
- Or 5 years experience in senior management in operations, distribution, logistics or retail
- Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers or associates
- Experience managing workload and participating in hiring and promotion
- Committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace
- Willingness to uphold company policies and ethical standards
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, or Production/Operations Management
- 3 years experience in a senior management role within an operations, distribution, logistics or retail environment supervising and developing managers and supervisors
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage financial aspects and workforce planning
- Experience resolving complex issues with associates, customers, and suppliers
- Knowledge of compliance and safety standards
- Preferred qualifications include experience in apparel product development, business operations, compliance, financial modeling, logistics, recruiting, supervising associates, and talent development
- Familiarity with Walmart logistics management and warehouse management systems
- Bachelor's degrees in Business, Finance, Logistics, Management, Operations Management, or Video Production may be an asset
Job Duties
- Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing
- Drive, develop and oversee implementation of the business plan for the facility
- Review and approve forecasted staffing plans
- Manage financial aspects by approving and tracking expenses compared to budget
- Monitor and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures
- Resolve associate, customer and supplier concerns by investigating and making decisions
- Serve as a community liaison and champion company-sponsored programs and events
- Lead and direct the facility's leadership by setting direction and ensuring execution, communicating goals, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying training needs, and overseeing hiring, promotion and evaluation of associates
- Build high-performing teams and create a workplace culture of belonging
- Act with integrity by maintaining high ethical standards and accountability
- Deliver results with a customer-first mindset
- Make data-driven decisions balancing short and long term priorities
- Drive continuous improvements and support adoption of new technologies and skills
