Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as management, logistics, business administration, financial management, production or operations management
- three years experience in senior management within operations, distribution, logistics or retail environment
- supervisory experience including evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers or supervisors
- ability to manage workload and participate in hiring and promotions
- successful completion of all job-required training and assessments
- compliance with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in management, logistics, business administration, financial management, production or operations management
- minimum 3 years of senior management experience in operations, distribution, logistics, or retail environment
- experience in supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers and supervisors
- ability to manage workload and participate in hiring and promotion decisions
- experience with logistics management systems and financial modeling is preferred
- strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- knowledge of safety, quality standards, and compliance protocols
Job Duties
- Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
- drive, develop and oversee implementation of the business plan for the facility
- review and approve forecasted staffing plans
- manage financial aspects for the facility including approving and tracking expenses
- monitor and ensure facility-wide compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards
- resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns by investigating and making decisions
- serve as a community liaison and participate in local and community organizations
- lead and direct the facility's leadership by setting direction, communicating goals, monitoring performance and providing feedback
