Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3 years senior management experience in operations, distribution, logistics, or retail environment
- experience supervising, mentoring, and developing managers or supervisors
- experience managing workload and hiring or promoting employees
- or 2 years as Walmart Logistics Assistant General Manager
- successful completion of required trainings and assessments
- adherence to company drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in management, logistics, business administration, financial management, production, or operations management
- 3 years experience in a senior management role within operations, distribution, logistics, or retail environment supervising and developing managers or supervisors
- OR 2 years experience as a Walmart Logistics Assistant General Manager
- OR 5 years experience in a senior management role in related environment
- experience managing workload and participating in hiring and promotion of employees
- successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments
Job Duties
- Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing
- drive, develop, and oversee implementation of the business plan for the facility
- review and approve forecasted staffing plans
- manage financial aspects including budget approval and monitoring
- monitor facilitywide compliance with logistics and company standards
- resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns
- serve as a community liaison participating in local organizations and activities
- lead and direct the facility’s leadership by setting goals, monitoring performance, and providing feedback
- support hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation of associates
- build high-performing teams and foster a culture of belonging
- promote integrity, ethics, and compliance
- deliver customer-focused results
- make data-driven decisions balancing short- and long-term priorities
- drive continuous improvement and support adoption of new technologies and skills
