Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years retail profit and loss (P and L) management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
  • Ability to lead and develop a team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years retail profit and loss (P and L) management experience
  • At least 2 years supervisory experience
  • Experience in food service management preferred
  • Retail Fresh experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze financial data and develop budgets
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance
  • Proficient in merchandising and inventory management
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture

Job Duties

  • Coordinates job activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
  • Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs
  • Builds accountability and measures progress in achieving results
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, and mentoring
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, mission, and ethics
  • Creates and monitors budgets for sales, expenses, and wages
  • Works as part of the management team to ensure smooth store operations
  • Plans production labor and execution for major events and seasonal demands
  • Oversees food safety standards and cold chain compliance
  • Drives sales and profit by managing merchandising and inventory
  • Manages performance of Fresh areas by reviewing sales, planning, and safety
  • Enforces adherence to Sam's Club Fresh standards and product quality
  • Encourages associates to improve member services and identifies business opportunities
  • Manages merchandising operations including products, fixtures, and layouts
  • Demonstrates knowledge of fresh products and ensures food safety compliance
  • Manages financial performance with budget monitoring and data analysis
  • Promotes a culture of respect, integrity, and excellence among team members
  • Leads efforts to resolve member complaints and improve the shopping experience
