Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as management, logistics, business administration, financial management, or production/operations management
  • Minimum of three years experience in a senior management role in operations, distribution, logistics, or retail environment with supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers and supervisors
  • Experience managing workload and participating in hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide
  • Alternative pathway includes two years experience as a Walmart Logistics Assistant General Manager with supervisory duties
  • Five years senior management experience in relevant environments also accepted
  • Compliance with Walmart drug-free workplace policy

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as management, logistics, business administration, financial management, or production/operations management
  • Experience in a senior management role within operations, distribution, logistics, or retail environment
  • Supervisory and mentoring experience with managers and supervisors
  • Knowledge of budget development, P&L management, manpower forecasting, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple business types within a warehouse or logistics network
  • Experience with continuous improvement and supply chain processes

Job Duties

  • Manage facility financial operations including budgeting and expenditure authorization
  • Analyze and approve staffing plans to align with business goals
  • Serve as a community liaison advocating for company programs
  • Resolve associate, customer, and supplier issues through investigation and consultation
  • Lead and direct the facility management team by setting goals and monitoring performance
  • Develop and manage the facility business plan ensuring achievement of production, quality, and safety targets
  • Implement and ensure compliance with corporate quality and safety standards
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key organizational stakeholders
  • Train and develop operational and leadership skills in preparation for General Manager responsibilities
