Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as management logistics business administration financial management or production operations management
  • 3 years experience in a senior management role within an operations distribution logistics retail environment supervising evaluating mentoring and developing managers supervisors
  • Experience managing workload and participating in hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide or 2 years experience as a Walmart Logistics Assistant General Manager supervising evaluating mentoring and developing associates managing associate workload and participating in hiring and promotion or 5 years experience in a senior management role as an operations distribution logistics retail environment supervising evaluating mentoring and developing
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in supply chain transportation and logistics management through Live Better U and Bellevue University
  • 4 years experience as a general manager with total facility responsibility in an operations distribution logistics environment
  • Experience developing and managing budgets managing p l monitoring regulatory compliance and analyzing financial operational data
  • Senior-level experience managing multiple business types within a warehouse or logistics network

Job Duties

  • Manage the facilitys financial operations by authorizing and managing expenditures in relation to the budget monitoring asset use and generating evaluating andor evaluating business reports
  • Analyze and approve projected staffing plans to ensure they are accurately forecast to meet business goals for workload and performance results guarantee timely implementation of staffing plans
  • Participate as a community liaison in local and community organizations and philanthropic activities advocate for companysponsored programs and events among associates customers and the local community
  • Conduct investigations and resolve associate customer and supplier issues by making judgments or consulting with others
  • Lead and direct the facilitys management team by establishing direction communicating goals monitoring performance providing feedback and identifying training and development needs
  • Develop plan and manage the facilitys business plan to achieve goals such as production quality and safety and identify potential for continuous improvement
  • Develop implement and manage processes to ensure compliance with supply chain and corporate quality and safety standards policies procedures and directives on a facilitywide level
  • Facilitate strong partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders including finance merch transportation effectively developing and sustaining key organizational objectives
  • Train and develop self within the facility in operational acumen leadership supply chain awareness continuous improvement aptitude and execution in preparation for a general manager role
