Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a senior management role within operations, distribution, logistics or retail environment
  • Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers and supervisors
  • Experience managing workload and participating in hiring and promotion facility-wide
  • OR 2 years experience as Walmart Logistics Assistant General Manager with relevant supervisory experience
  • OR 5 years experience in senior management role in relevant environment with supervisory responsibilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production or Operations Management
  • Experience in senior management roles within operations, distribution, logistics, or retail environments
  • Strong leadership skills with experience supervising, mentoring, and developing managers and supervisors
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L
  • Experienced in analyzing financial and operational data
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across functions
  • Experience in employee hiring, promotion, and career development processes

Job Duties

  • Manage the facilitys financial operations by authorizing and managing expenditures in relation to the budget
  • Monitor asset use and generate and evaluate business reports
  • Analyze and approve projected staffing plans to meet business goals
  • Participate as a community liaison in local and community organizations and advocate for company programs and events
  • Address associate, customer, and supplier issues by conducting investigations and making informed decisions
  • Lead and direct the facilitys management team by setting direction, communicating goals, monitoring performance, and providing feedback
  • Develop and manage the facilitys business plans to achieve production, quality, and safety goals
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with supply chain and corporate quality and safety standards
  • Facilitate partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization including finance, merchandising, and transportation
  • Train and develop self and others in operational leadership and continuous improvement practices
