Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Minimum 6 months experience in fresh production area
Ability to complete all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time periods
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to bakery production
Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends holidays and seasonal peaks

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 6 months experience in fresh production area
Proven ability to use decorating tools and follow recipes accurately
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in customer service or retail environment
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
Basic digital literacy and willingness to learn new technologies
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain attention to detail
Commitment to upholding company policies and standards of ethics

Job Duties

Collaborate with cross functional teams and educate associates on tools tasks and resources
Communicate and develop interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service
Plan bakery production ensuring quality consistency and accuracy in decorative designs
Utilize various decorating tools like bags tips and nozzles to create flower and lettering designs
Follow food safety sanitation and cold chain compliance standards
Operate maintain and sanitize bakery equipment
Use digital tools to improve sales production ordering and training processes
Drive bakery area performance ensuring quality date control and waste elimination
Prepare for seasonal events by managing volume and inventory
Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve concerns
Serve as a brand ambassador modeling superior customer service and product knowledge
Train and mentor associates promoting teamwork and respect
Comply with company policies ethics and integrity standards
Complete work assignments prioritizing tasks communicating progress and identifying improvement opportunities
Embrace diversity foster a culture of belonging and support team dynamics
Maintain accountability and support Walmart’s regenerative company goals
