Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
six months experience in fresh production area
ability to complete required trainings and assessments within prescribed time
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
capability to stand for extended periods
basic math skills to follow recipes and measurements
adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
six months experience in a fresh production area
knowledge of cake decorating techniques preferred
ability to operate bakery equipment
strong communication and interpersonal skills
proficiency with digital tools and handheld technology
ability to work in a team-oriented environment
understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
customer service orientation
willingness to learn and adapt to new processes

Job Duties

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate associates on tools and tasks
communicate and develop interpersonal customer service skills
maintain instock levels and control shrinkage
plan bakery productions ensuring quality and accuracy of decorative designs
follow recipe and measurement instructions for bakery items
operate, maintain and sanitize bakery equipment
ensure adherence to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
utilize handheld technology for production and merchandise decisions
prepare for seasonal bakery volume increases
identify and assist with member purchasing needs
resolve member issues and concerns
model high quality service and products
train, develop and mentor associates
comply with company policies, ethics and integrity standards
complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources
support diversity and inclusive workplace culture
foster strong team relationships
promote integrity and accountability
deliver results while prioritizing customer service
drive continuous improvements and adopt new technologies and skills
