Job Requirements
- Minimum six months experience in fresh production area
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
- Commitment to follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Capacity to stand for extended periods and handle bakery equipment
Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in fresh production area
- Knowledge of cake decorating techniques preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to use handheld technology for business decisions
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Customer service orientation
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and help educate other associates on tools tasks and resources
- Communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service
- Plan bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs
- Follow recipe measurement instructions and work with various decorating tools
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards sanitation guidelines and inventory management
- Operate maintain and sanitize bakery equipment
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
- Drive bakery performance ensuring quality and date control standards
- Eliminate waste and prepare for seasonal bakery events
- Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve member issues
- Model high quality service and products and mentor other associates
- Comply with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity
- Complete work assignments using policies data and resources
- Embrace differences and promote a culture of belonging
- Build strong and trusting relationships and communicate with positivity
- Maintain and promote the highest standards of integrity ethics and compliance
- Deliver results while putting the customer first
- Make decisions based on reliable information balancing priorities
