- Ability to follow recipes and decorate bakery products
- Willingness to comply with company policies and food safety standards
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills
- Physical ability to operate bakery equipment and stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience in fresh production area
- Knowledge of cake decorating techniques preferred
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
- Skilled in customer service and communication
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Comfortable using technology and handheld devices for business operations
- Ability to train and mentor associates
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Duties
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and help educate associates on tools tasks and resources
- Plan bakery production ensuring consistency and quality of decorative designs
- Follow recipe and measurement instructions accurately
- Work with decorating tools such as bags tips and nozzles to create decorative flowers and lettering
- Maintain food safety standards sanitation guidelines and cold chain compliance
- Operate maintain and sanitize bakery equipment
- Utilize handheld technology for production and merchandise ordering decisions
- Drive bakery performance ensuring quality and date control standards and minimizing waste
- Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve member issues
- Train develop and inspire associates fostering a respectful and supportive team environment
- Comply with company policies procedures and ethical standards
