Job Duties

  • Be a team member by collaborating with cross functional teams and helping educate associates on tools and resources
  • communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service

  • maintain in-stock levels
  • control shrinkage
  • plan bakery productions ensuring quality and accuracy of decorative designs
  • follow recipe measurements
  • use decorating bags, tips, and nozzles to create cake decorations
  • ensure food safety, sanitation, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
  • operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
  • understand product and layout execution
  • leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
  • utilize handheld technology for production and merchandise ordering decisions
  • adapt to and encourage use of new technology
  • drive bakery area performance by ensuring quality and date control
  • eliminate waste
  • prepare for seasonal events affecting bakery volume
  • identify member needs
  • assist members with purchasing decisions
  • resolve member issues and concerns
  • act as a talent ambassador by modeling high quality service and products
  • interact with associates to identify roadblocks and assist in training
  • develop and inspire team-oriented working styles
  • comply with company policies, ethics, and standards of integrity
  • complete assignments using policies, data, and resources
