Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months experience in fresh production area
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Successful completion of job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed timelines
  • Commitment to upholding company policies and procedures
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform bakery tasks including standing for long periods and lifting
  • Willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policy

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 6 months experience in fresh production area
  • Experience in cake decorating preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Proficiency in using bakery tools and equipment

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate associates on tools and tasks
  • Plan bakery productions ensuring quality and accuracy of decorative designs
  • Follow recipe instructions and use decorating tools to create flowers and lettering on bakery items
  • Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management
  • Operate, maintain and sanitize bakery equipment
  • Use digital tools to drive sales and improve member experience
  • Manage bakery area performance including quality control, waste elimination, and member assistance
