Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience in fresh production area
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Successful completion of job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed timelines
- Commitment to upholding company policies and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to perform bakery tasks including standing for long periods and lifting
- Willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 6 months experience in fresh production area
- Experience in cake decorating preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Proficiency in using bakery tools and equipment
Job Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate associates on tools and tasks
- Plan bakery productions ensuring quality and accuracy of decorative designs
- Follow recipe instructions and use decorating tools to create flowers and lettering on bakery items
- Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management
- Operate, maintain and sanitize bakery equipment
- Use digital tools to drive sales and improve member experience
- Manage bakery area performance including quality control, waste elimination, and member assistance
