Job Duties
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service
- Maintain instock levels and control shrinkage
- Plan bakery productions ensuring quality and accuracy of decorative designs
- Use decorating tools like bags, tips, and nozzles to create flowers and lettering
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
- Leverage digital tools and handheld technology to improve sales and the shopping experience
- Drive bakery area performance including quality and date control standards
- Reduce waste and prepare for seasonal bakery volume changes
- Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve concerns
- Act as a brand advocate by modeling high quality service and products
- Support and mentor associates, fostering a respectful and team-oriented work environment
- Follow company policies, ethics, and integrity standards
- Manage assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners
