- Knowledge of cake decorating techniques preferred
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely

Job Duties
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and educate associates on tools and resources
- Communicate and develop interpersonal skills for customer service
- Maintain in-stock levels and control shrinkage
- Plan bakery productions ensuring quality and accuracy of decorative designs
- Follow recipe measurements and use various decorating tools
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cold chain guidelines
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
- Utilize handheld technology for production and merchandise decisions
- Adapt to new technology and encourage team adoption
- Drive bakery area performance by managing quality and date control
- Reduce waste and prepare for seasonal bakery volume changes
- Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues
- Act as a brand advocate and model high quality service
- Support and train associates promoting a respectful and team-oriented work environment
- Comply with company policies and ethics standards
- Complete work assignments using policies and data
- Collaborate with managers and co-workers to meet priorities and deadlines
- Communicate progress and recommend improvements
- Adapt to change and feedback
