Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Six months experience in fresh production area
  • Successful completion of all required job trainings and assessments
  • Commitment to comply with company policies and drug-free workplace standards

Job Qualifications

  • Six months experience in fresh production area required
  • Knowledge of cake decorating techniques preferred
  • Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Proficiency with digital tools and handheld technology
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to train and support associates

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and educate associates on tools and resources
  • Communicate and develop interpersonal skills for customer service
  • Maintain in-stock levels and control shrinkage
  • Plan bakery productions ensuring quality and accuracy of decorative designs
  • Follow recipe measurements and use various decorating tools
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cold chain guidelines
  • Operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
  • Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
  • Utilize handheld technology for production and merchandise decisions
  • Adapt to new technology and encourage team adoption
  • Drive bakery area performance by managing quality and date control
  • Reduce waste and prepare for seasonal bakery volume changes
  • Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues
  • Act as a brand advocate and model high quality service
  • Support and train associates promoting a respectful and team-oriented work environment
  • Comply with company policies and ethics standards
  • Complete work assignments using policies and data
  • Collaborate with managers and co-workers to meet priorities and deadlines
  • Communicate progress and recommend improvements
  • Adapt to change and feedback
