Job Duties
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- Communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service
- Maintain in-stock levels and control shrinkage
- Plan bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and decorative designs
- Follow recipe measurement instructions and work with decorating tools
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
- Utilize handheld technology for production, merchandise ordering and training
- Drive performance of bakery area with quality and date control standards
- Prepare for seasonal events impacting bakery volume
- Identify and assist members with purchasing decisions
- Resolve member issues and concerns
- Act as brand advocate by valuing member experience and modeling high-quality service
- Assist in training associates and developing team in a supportive and respectful manner
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and integrity standards
- Complete work assignments using company data and resources
- Collaborate with managers, co-workers, and customers
- Adapt to change and learn from feedback and challenges
