Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 6 months experience in fresh production area
- ability to complete all required training and assessments within prescribed time
- willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policies
- ability to work flexible hours including holidays and special events
- physical ability to handle bakery equipment and stand for long periods
- basic math and measurement skills
- commitment to uphold company policies and integrity standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 6 months experience in a fresh production area
- knowledge of cake decorating techniques preferred
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- experience using digital tools and technology in bakery or retail setting
- customer service skills
- ability to train and mentor others
Job Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate associates on tools and resources
- plan bakery production ensuring quality and accuracy of decorative designs
- follow recipe measurement instructions for bakery products
- ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and cold chain compliance standards
- operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
- use handheld technology for production decisions and merchandise ordering
- assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve member issues
- prepare for seasonal events impacting bakery volume
- comply with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards
- complete work assignments using available policies and data
- create an inclusive and supportive work environment that respects diversity and teamwork
- mentor and develop team members
- contribute to continuous improvement and adopt new technologies
