Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • six months of experience in fresh production area
  • ability to complete required trainings and assessments within prescribed time
  • commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least six months of experience in fresh production
  • experience or training in cake decorating preferred
  • strong customer service and teamwork skills
  • ability to use digital tools and handheld technology
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to follow detailed instructions and measurements
  • capacity to handle equipment safely
  • flexibility to meet business needs and seasonal demands

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with cross functional teams and educates associates on tools, tasks, and resources
  • communicates and develops interpersonal skills for customer service
  • maintains in-stock levels and controls shrinkage
  • plans bakery production ensuring quality and decorative accuracy
  • follows recipe measurements and works with decorating tools
  • adheres to food safety, sanitation, and cold chain compliance
  • operates and sanitizes equipment
  • leverages digital tools to improve sales and shopping experience
  • uses handheld technology for production, ordering, training, and quality decisions
  • drives bakery area performance including quality control and waste elimination
  • prepares for seasonal bakery volume increases
  • assists members with purchasing decisions and resolves issues
  • models high quality service and product standards
  • trains and supports associates
  • complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics
  • completes work assignments using policies and data
  • communicates progress and suggests improvement opportunities
  • adapts to change and feedback
