Job Requirements

  • 6 months' experience in fresh production area
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Willingness to complete all required job trainings and assessments
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to work flexible hours including seasonal demands
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle decorating tools
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in cake decorating preferred
  • Knowledge of bakery production and decorative techniques
  • Ability to use digital tools for inventory and production management
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of food safety standards and compliance
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate associates on tools, tasks and resources
  • Communicate and develop interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain in-stock levels and control shrinkage
  • Plan bakery production ensuring consistency and quality of decorative designs
  • Follow recipe measurements and instructions using decorating tools like bags, tips and nozzles
  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines and cold chain compliance
  • Operate, maintain and sanitize bakery equipment
  • Use handheld technology to manage production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
  • Drive bakery performance including quality and date control standards
  • Prepare for seasonal events impacting bakery volume
  • Identify member needs and assist with purchasing decisions
  • Resolve member issues and concerns
  • Act as a brand advocate by modeling high-quality service and products
  • Assist in training, developing, influencing and inspiring team members
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics and integrity standards
  • Complete assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers and customers
  • Embrace diversity and foster an inclusive workplace
  • Build strong, trusting relationships and communicate with positivity
