Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- At least six months experience in fresh production area
- Must successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period if hired
- Ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Willingness to collaborate with team members
- Good physical stamina for standing and performing bakery tasks
- Willingness to comply with company policies, including drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- Minimum six months experience in fresh production area
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of bakery production and cake decorating techniques preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain bakery equipment
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Basic proficiency with digital tools and handheld technology
- Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and integrity
- Ability to adapt to new tools and support others through change
- Capable of working with flexibility to meet business needs
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- Communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service
- Maintain in-stock levels and control shrinkage
- Plan bakery productions ensuring quality and accuracy in decorative designs
- Follow recipe measurements and bakery safety, sanitation, and cold chain compliance guidelines
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
- Utilize digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and support business decisions
- Drive bakery area performance by ensuring quality and date control standards
- Prepare for seasonal bakery volume changes and assist members with purchasing decisions
- Resolve member issues and concerns
- Act as a brand advocate by modeling high-quality service and products
- Train, develop, and inspire associates in a respectful and supportive team environment
- Comply with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards
- Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and business partners
- Embrace diversity and foster a workplace culture of belonging
