Job Requirements
- Six months experience in fresh production area
- must be 18 years of age or older
- successful completion of all required job trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
- capability to work in a team environment
- availability to work flexible hours including holidays and seasonal peaks
- adherence to drug free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in fresh production area
- experience in cake decorating
- understanding of food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- ability to use decorating tools such as bags tips and nozzles
- proficiency in operating bakery equipment
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
- knowledge of inventory management
- capability to leverage digital tools for business decisions
- problem solving and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools tasks and resources
- communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service
- maintains instock levels and controls shrinkage
- plans bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs
- follows recipe measurement instructions
- uses decorating bags tips and nozzles to create decorative flowers and lettering
- adheres to food safety standards sanitation guidelines and cold chain compliance
- operates maintains and sanitizes bakery equipment
- leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
- makes business decisions related to production merchandise ordering training and product quality
- drives bakery area performance ensuring quality and date control standards
- eliminates waste
- prepares for seasonal events impacting bakery volume
- identifies member needs and assists with purchasing decisions
- resolves member issues and concerns
- serves as a brand advocate modeling high quality service and products
- interacts with associates to understand and remove roadblocks
- assists in training developing and inspiring team members
