Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- six months experience in fresh production area
- ability to complete all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- commitment to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months experience in fresh production area
- knowledge of cake decorating techniques preferred
- ability to use bakery decorating tools and equipment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- familiarity with digital tools and technology in retail environment
Job Duties
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and educate associates on tools tasks and resources
- communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service and business flexibility
- maintain instock levels and control shrinkage
- plan bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs
- follow recipe measurement instructions and use various decorating tools such as bags tips and nozzles
- ensure adherence to food safety standards sanitation guidelines and inventory management
- operate maintain and sanitize equipment
- utilize digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experiences
- leverage handheld technology for production merchandise ordering training and quality decisions
- drive bakery area performance ensuring quality and date control standards
- eliminate waste and prepare for seasonal events impacting bakery volume
- identify member needs and assist with purchasing decisions
- resolve member issues and concerns
- serve as a talent ambassador by valuing member experiences and modeling high quality service
- interact with associates to train develop influence and inspire a respectful supportive and team oriented work environment
- comply with company policies procedures and ethical standards
- implement action plans using the Open Door Policy
- complete work assignments using policies data and resources
