Job Requirements

  • 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period

  • Bakery production including decorating
  • Supervising associates
  • Food Handler Certification (Food Safety)

Job Duties

  • Supervises the team within the bakery department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club by communicating the goals of the department
  • executes company programs
  • adheres to policies and advocates for the member, associate, and company
  • collaborates with other team leaders to meet member expectations
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product specifications, and seasonality
  • ensures bakery department meets quality, inventory, equipment usage, production, safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
  • trains and shares knowledge with the team
  • ensures team members are knowledgeable about new products, recipes, and production specifications
  • Utilizes digital tools and hand-held technology to plan and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
  • makes immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
  • Drives business results by maintaining operational excellence, cleanliness, safety, appropriate planning and staffing
