Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Six months of experience in a bakery production department or supervising a team
- Successful completion of all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time periods
- Ability to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace standards
Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in bakery production or supervising a team
- Knowledge of bakery product specifications and safety standards
- Experience in training and developing associates
- Ability to use digital tools and technology for operational decisions
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Food handler certification is preferred
- Experience in bakery decorating is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with other department leaders
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity and compliance
Job Duties
- Supervise the team within the bakery department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club
- Communicate the goals of the department executing company programs and adhering to policies
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of bakery business operations, product specifications, and safety standards
- Ensure quality, inventory, equipment usage, production safety, sanitation, and compliance standards are met
- Provide training and development to team members on new products, recipes, and production specifications
- Leverage digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and improve operations
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area and ensure appropriate planning and staffing
- Drive consistency in quality, food safety, and company policies
- Produce and display merchandise according to layout plans
- Identify training needs and encourage career growth of team members
- Develop and implement processes to meet business needs and improve performance
- Promote and support compliance with company policies and ethics
- Lead and participate in teams to ensure work quality, timelines, and adaptability to change
- Embrace diversity and create an inclusive workplace culture
- Act with integrity and hold oneself and others accountable
- Deliver results while putting the customer first
