Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Six months experience in a bakery production or supervisory role
- Successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed time
- Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace
- Commitment to company policies and ethical standards
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed
- Ability to use hand held technology and digital tools for business decisions
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in a bakery production department or six months experience supervising a team
- Knowledge of bakery production including decorating
- Experience supervising associates
- Food Handler Certification preferred
- Ability to use digital tools for business operations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to train and develop team members
- Commitment to operational excellence and compliance
- Customer-focused mindset and team collaboration skills.
Job Duties
- Supervises the team within the Bakery department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club
- Communicates the goals of the department
- Executes company programs adhering to policies
- Advocates for the member, associate, and company
- Works collaboratively with other team leaders
- Maintains quality inventory, equipment usage, production safety, sanitation, and compliance
- Shares knowledge and trains the team on new products and production specifications
- Utilizes hand held technology for immediate business decisions
- Ensures operational excellence and a safe working environment
- Plans and staffs for weekly bakery volumes
- Drives consistency in quality, food safety, and company policies
- Maintains accurate inventory audit and compliance standards
- Produces and displays merchandise according to the merchandise layout plan
- Identifies training needs and provides necessary skills development
- Encourages career growth and sources new talent
- Develops and implements processes and practices to meet business needs
- Promotes compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics
- Leads and participates in teams to coordinate work assignments
