Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
- successful completion of all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
- ability to work in compliance with company policies
- commitment to maintain a drug-free workplace

- basic food safety knowledge
- ability to stand and perform manual tasks for extended periods

Job Duties
- Supervises the team within the bakery department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club by communicating department goals
- executes company programs adhering to policies and advocates for the member, associate, and company
- collaborates with other team leaders to ensure club-wide member satisfaction
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of bakery business, backroom operations, product specifications, and seasonality to meet company and regulatory standards in quality, inventory, equipment usage, production, safety, sanitation, and compliance
- Trains and equips team members with necessary knowledge and resources to perform their jobs effectively
- Leverages digital tools and handheld technology to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
- Drives business results by committing to operational excellence, maintaining clean and safe work areas, ensuring appropriate staffing and planning for bakery volumes, and producing and displaying merchandise according to layout plans
- Teaches and develops the team by identifying training needs, encouraging career growth, sourcing new talent, implementing business processes in collaboration with managers and coworkers, and promoting compliance with company policies and standards
- Leads and participates in teams, motivates others with effective communication, builds strong relationships, helps associates adapt to changes, and supports a respectful, inclusive workplace culture
