Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates effectively with team members
- works flexibly in different areas as needed
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions accurately
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production and product quality
- maintains operational excellence by keeping work area clean and organized
- ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- advocates for the department and the club by modeling high-quality service and products
- complies with company policies and ethics standards
- completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers
- adapts to change and incorporates feedback
