Job Requirements
- 8+ years extensive experience in U.S. HTS classification, customs, international trade compliance
- bachelor's degree preferably in international business, tax, or finance
- U.S. customs broker license preferred
- excellent problem solving and project management skills
- leadership and people management experience
- ability to collaborate at all organizational levels
- hands-on experience in process streamlining and digitization
- in-depth knowledge of 19 CFR
- experience with global trade management or ERP systems
- strong communication and presentation skills
- legal authorization to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferably in international business, tax, or finance

- leadership and people management experience

- hands-on experience in process streamlining and digitization
- in-depth knowledge of 19 CFR
- experience with global trade management technology or ERP such as SAP, TR-One Source, MIC
- strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- presentation skills
- legal authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
Job Duties
- Drive efficient and robust U.S. HTS classification and description procedures
- management of day-to-day HTS classification activity
- directly supervise, mentor, develop, and assist the U.S. customs classification team members in daily HTS classification activities
- analyze and aggregate causes of HTS classification issues and delays and drive improvement actions
- implement U.S. HTS classification compliance supervising through metrics
- collaborate with U.S. internal and external customers on HTS classification matters
- support SOPs and training development for the U.S. customs classification team
- participate in cross-functional projects related to HTS transactions
- develop strong partnerships with business areas for HTS classification activities
- drive financial optimization through compliant tariff engineering
- support U.S. Customs Regulation team and Customs North America leadership on regulatory matters
