Job Requirements

  • Be based in San Jose or the immediate surrounding area
  • No previous flight attendant experience required
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and on-call shifts

Job Duties

  • Greet passengers at the airport terminal with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Perform all aspects of passenger check-in including verifying reservations, issuing boarding passes, and tagging baggage
  • Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries about flight schedules, fares, and reservations
  • Handle baggage, weighing and ensuring compliance with aircraft limitations
  • Communicate with pilots and ground crew to ensure on-time departures
  • Make boarding announcements and escort passengers to the aircraft
  • Ensure safety and comfort of passengers in the cabin on board flights
  • Provide personalized safety briefing to passengers before takeoff
  • Secure cabin including all baggage and carry-on items
  • Monitor passengers during flight for comfort and safety compliance
  • Offer complimentary in-flight snacks and beverages
  • Assist passengers with deplaning upon arrival
