Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform manual, physical labor for up to 8 hours per day
  • exposed to the elements
  • must occasionally lift and/or move 40 pounds or more
  • minimum of 18 years of age
  • legal ability to work in the US
  • ability to meet SCA's criminal background check standards

  • experience working in a team environment strongly desired
  • experience working outdoors a plus

Job Duties

  • Work collaboratively with team members, SCA staff, and National Park Service staff completing outdoor hands-on projects in field conservation and natural resource management
  • learn new skills in trail maintenance and rock work
  • participate in career builder activities
  • gather and set rocks by hand for trail structures
  • perform digging and manual labor to stabilize and restore trail features
  • work safely in natural environments and follow environmental and safety guidelines
