Job Duties
- Serve as the final point of quality control for all dishes leaving the kitchen
- Ensure each plate is properly garnished, free of imperfections, and meets the restaurant's high standards for presentation
- Deliver food orders to the correct guests and tables in a timely and professional manner, using proper carrying techniques
- Announce each dish to the guest, briefly describing the components and preparation method
- Address any special guest requests or dietary restrictions, ensuring they are communicated effectively to the kitchen
- Maintain a clear and constant line of communication with both the kitchen staff (Expeditor, Chef) and the service team (Servers, Bartenders)
- Assist servers in managing the pace of the meal service, communicating when a table is ready for the next course or if guests are dining slowly
- Support the service staff by refilling water glasses, clearing plates between courses, and bussing tables as needed
- Ensure all service stations are clean, organized, and fully stocked with plateware, silverware, glassware, and other necessary supplies
- Assist in setting and resetting tables with the correct utensils and linens
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
