Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to walk, bend, and move around the dining room
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 15-20 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience
- Basic knowledge of reservation systems advantageous

- Previous experience in high-volume or upscale restaurant environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional and well-groomed appearance
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with reservation software is a plus
- Calm and composed demeanor under pressure
- Genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly and professional welcome
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists efficiently
- Seat guests strategically to balance server workload
- Escort guests to tables and introduce servers politely
- Handle special requests discreetly
- Answer phone inquiries and take accurate reservations
- Relay special guest requests to servers and confirm reservations
- Anticipate and address guest needs promptly
- Maintain organized host stand and entrance
- Assist with coat check services
- Offer warm farewells to guests
- Liaise between front-of-house and kitchen to manage service pace
- Ensure dining room cleanliness and visual appeal
- Assist in setting ambiance with lighting, music, and table settings
- Communicate effectively with team and assist in light bussing
- Participate in pre-shift meetings to stay informed
