Job Requirements
- Some bartending experience required
- Must have basic knowledge of beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
- Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate
- Bartending certificate or license required
- Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a register
- Basic English language writing skills necessary for completion of requisitions balance sheets vouchers and to communicate with guests and take orders
- Sufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to use a knife to make garnishes pick up glassware and bottles scoop ice mix drinks and reach overhead to retrieve stock
- Ability to remember recite and promote a variety of menu items
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time
- Ability to operate a keyboard and perform point of sale procedures to pre-check an order and close out a check
- Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days evenings weekends holidays and the ability to work under pressure

Job Duties
- Set up the bar daily ensuring proper stocking of beer wine spirits paper goods straws stirrers condiments and produce based on daily function projections
- Cut prepare and store fresh fruit garnishes juices and other perishables each shift to maintain peak quality
- Greet guests warmly take and record drink orders and prepare beverages to standard recipes with proper garnish and portion control
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area following personal hygiene standards
- Accurately track all products served using the POS system and consumption documentation
- Accurately balance the POS system at the end of each shift
- Comply with all state federal and corporate liquor laws including those regarding service to minors and intoxicated guests
- Other duties as assigned
