Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or one year of previous job experience in lieu of diploma
  • Six months of experience for senior level
  • Demonstrated role competency for senior level
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Completion of an annual contribution as specified
  • Availability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
  • Act 34 clearance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six months of experience as a Patient & Family Concierge or equivalent for senior level
  • Demonstrated competency in all responsibilities of the role for senior level
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Completion of annual contributions such as hospital or department committee participation, departmental projects, peer interviewing, or onboarding/precepting others

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors, offering directions and escorting as needed
  • Deliver meals, water, and nourishments to patient rooms
  • Transport patients and essential equipment or specimens throughout the facility
  • Restock supplies, organize common areas, and support room readiness
  • Answer phones, respond to call lights under supervision, and round hourly to assess patient needs
  • Assist with unit-specific non-clinical tasks, including paperwork distribution and maintaining family lounges
