Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-5+ years of previous supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or production environment
- Experience in bakery or dough production environment is preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Working knowledge of packaging and production line equipment
- Familiarity with food safety systems (GMPs, HACCP) and QA standards
- Understanding of production scheduling and planning
- Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety requirements
- Basic troubleshooting skills for equipment and process issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or ERP systems
- Effective leadership and team management skills
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment
- High attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality
- Excellent time management and adaptability
- Conflict resolution and team-building skills
- Accountability for meeting production targets and maintaining standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business, or related field preferred
- 2-5+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing or production
- Experience in bakery or dough production is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Knowledge of food safety systems (GMPs, HACCP) and OSHA regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage materials and inventory effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong reporting, documentation, and data tracking skills
Job Duties
- Lead, coach, and support a team of 20+ operators during your shift
- Ensure all packaging and processing equipment in BEAR, bakery, and dough room are operating effectively
- Monitor the positive flow of raw materials and supplies to prevent production delays
- Maintain compliance with food safety and quality standards across all production areas
- Conduct routine checks to ensure cleanliness and equipment functionality
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production goals
