Job Requirements
- one year of experience as a baker in an institution, restaurant, hotel, or commercial baker
- one year of food service work or cooking experience
- one year of experience as a cook in a commercial food service facility or possession of a certificate of completion in culinary arts and/or foods and hospitality service from a certified community college or technical school
- ability to obtain a Lane County Food Handler's card
- ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures

Job Duties
- prepare a variety of baked goods including doughs, cakes, cookies, pastries, and desserts
- ensure accurate order fulfillment and maintain high-quality standards
- manage inventory and keep work areas clean and safe
- perform front and back of house food service activities such as barista duties, food preparation, dishwashing, and dining room upkeep
- cook meals according to recipes or verbal instructions using various cooking methods such as boiling, grilling, steaming, roasting, and baking
- maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
- keep accurate records of meals served
