Job Requirements
- one year of experience as a baker in an institution, restaurant, hotel or commercial baker
- one year of food service work or cooking experience
- one year of experience as a cook in a commercial food service facility or possession of a certificate of completion in culinary arts or foods and hospitality service from a certified community college or technical school
- ability to obtain a Lane County Food Handler’s card
- ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures

Job Duties
- prepare baked goods including doughs, cakes, cookies, pastries, and desserts
- maintain inventory and cleanliness of bakers’ work area
- perform front and back of house food service duties including barista operations and dish upkeep
- provide outstanding customer service
- prepare and serve meals according to menus, recipes, or instructions
- clean kitchen and equipment and maintain sanitary work environment
- keep accurate records including meal counts
