Job Requirements

  • one year of experience as a baker in an institution restaurant hotel or commercial baker
  • one year of food service work or cooking experience
  • one year of experience as a cook in a commercial food service facility or possession of a certificate of completion in culinary arts or foods and hospitality service from a certified community college or technical school
  • ability to obtain a lane county food handlers card
  • ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures

Job Duties

  • prepare a wide range of baked goods including doughs cakes cookies pastries and desserts
  • ensure accurate order fulfillment and maintain high-quality standards
  • manage inventory and keep all work areas clean and safe
  • perform barista operations food preparation dishwashing and dining room upkeep
  • provide outstanding customer service
  • prepare and serve meals according to menus recipes or verbal instructions
  • clean kitchen and equipment and maintain sanitary work areas
