Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand and walk constantly during shift
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- ability to bend, kneel, and balance frequently
- ability to perform repetitive hand motions
- ability to use vision including distance, depth perception, field, and color vision
- must have basic English communication skills
- any combination of education, training, or experience to demonstrate required skills
- willingness to work in indoor team environments with moderate noise levels
- ability to work safely in conditions involving slippery surfaces and exposure to fumes or smoke
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of and ability to identify menu products
- ability to work in a team environment
- ability to operate glassware washing machines and refill ice and beer bins
- knowledge of dish room operations including separating silverware, dishes, and glassware
- ability to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written
- basic reading, math, writing, and task completion skills
- skills in compiling, coordination, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making
Job Duties
- Promptly welcome all guests and ensure they receive responsive, professional, and gracious service
- anticipate guests' needs and respond with urgency
- communicate effectively with management, chefs, and culinary staff
- clear tables, clean tabletops and seating areas promptly
- assist servers in pre-bussing and busing tables
- help set up to-go/pick up areas and deliver to-go orders
- refill beverages as necessary
- set and reset tables and side stations before, during, and after service periods
- deliver food orders to tables
- ensure all machines are cleaned properly
- fold/roll napkins and keep silverware polished
- reset tables efficiently
- participate in pre-shift meetings and learn new menu items
- assist kitchen in expediting the service process
- maintain cleanliness in dining room during service
- manage warehouse orders
- perform any other assigned duties within scope
