Job Requirements

Background check required
ability to provide friendly and professional customer service

ability to handle cash transactions accurately
ability to work part-time hours
ability to follow agency policies and safety procedures

Job Qualifications

Strong mathematical skills
experience with personal computer operations is preferred
excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
prior experience in retail operations is a plus
familiarity with merchandise categories such as name brands, antiques, vintage, and collectibles
ability to identify shades and tones of color and visually inspect clothing for quality

Job Duties

Deliver 100% donor and customer satisfaction through exceptional service
operate the POS system to itemize purchases, handle cash, make change, and implement programs such as Round Up and Good Points
accurately input starting and ending cash amounts and maintain customer records using POS software
handle customer disputes and exchanges in line with agency policies, providing friendly and helpful service
rotate stock, merchandise racks, and shelves, and maintain attractive displays
assist leadership in training new team members
keep the store clean and organized by cleaning shelves, dusting, vacuuming floors, and cleaning windows and mirrors
support the team by running on the floor, rotating apparel, and maintaining dressing room upkeep
follow agency policies and safety/security measures consistently
conclude every transaction with a positive message

perform other duties as assigned
